Delete your GoT&T account

For the GoT&T app on iPhone and Android, by GoT&T Logistics LTD

You can delete your GoT&T account and the personal data linked to it at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.

In the app (fastest)

  1. Open the GoT&T app and sign in with Google or Apple, as you usually do.
  2. Open Account.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm. Your account is deleted and you are signed out.

Before you delete: finish or cancel any ride in progress. Drivers: go offline first, and call the office about any deposit balance you have left.

This deletes your GoT&T account, not your Google account or Apple ID. You can also remove GoT&T from the apps connected to your Google account or Apple ID in their settings.

By email

Can’t use the app, for example because you lost your phone? Send an email to hello@gotnt.site with the subject “Delete my account” and the phone number or email address of your account, and whether you signed in with Google or Apple. Write from that email address if you can. We may call, text or email you to confirm the request is yours. We delete the account within [30] days and reply to confirm.

What happens to your data

Deleted

  • Your name, phone number, email address, language and appearance settings
  • The link to your Google or Apple account (signing in with it again starts a new, empty account)
  • Saved places (home, work)
  • Push notification token
  • Your ID or passport photo
  • Drivers: your 5 documents and your driver photo

Kept, and why

  • Ride records, anonymised — your name and phone number are removed; date, route and fare are kept for [N years] for accounting, safety and disputes.
  • Deposit ledger (drivers) — deposits and commissions are kept for [N years], as required for accounting and tax.
  • Safety records — SOS incidents, and location data linked to an incident or a police request, for as long as needed for that case [max. N years].
  • Backups — copies are removed when backups expire, within 30 days.
  • Vehicle details (drivers) — make, model, colour and plate stay on the closed driver record and on past ride records, for accounting and safety.
